Why one-time, not a subscription

Almost every card app is a subscription, and a subscription card app has a structural problem: your client list sits on someone else's server, and that service can raise its price or shut down.

This app has no server. Cards and photos are stored in your own iCloud Drive; recognition runs on your phone. No account, no network. So the "rising operating costs" story can never come back — not because of a promise, but because the architecture makes it impossible.

What it does

Offline recognition

Text recognition happens entirely on device. Card contents never leave your phone. Reads Traditional and Simplified Chinese, English and Japanese cards, front and back.

Search finds anything printed

Not just names and companies. Taglines, brand names, full department titles — if it's on the card, you can find it, instantly, across thousands of cards.

Fix what it got wrong

Tap text on the photo to assign it to a field, or just type. The app flags what looks questionable instead of leaving you to find out later.

Groups itself

Cards group by company and region automatically — computed from the card, so new ones land in the right place. Add your own tags for industries or trade shows.

Save to iPhone Contacts

Name, company, title, phone with extensions, email and address all come across. Cards already saved are never written twice.

Move in, and hand off

Import vCard files from most card apps and address books. Pack a set of organized cards into one file and send it to another phone.

Questions

What does the free version limit?

Only the count: 30 cards. Scanning, recognition, editing and export are all fully available. Decide with the real thing, not a countdown timer.

Is card data uploaded anywhere?

No. The app has no server and makes no network calls to send card content. Files are written to your own iCloud Drive — open the Files app and you'll see one folder per card, holding a readable card.json and the photo.

What happens when I change phones?

Sign in to the same Apple Account and the cards are there. The purchase is tied to your Apple Account; use Restore Purchase after reinstalling.

Can I take my data with me if I stop using the app?

Yes. The files are plain JSON and the original photos, not a proprietary database. They open without this app.

Is there a Mac version?

The iPhone app runs on Apple silicon Macs. A native Mac version is under consideration.
