Why live preview changes things

Most style cameras work in two steps: shoot first, then open an editor and try filters until one looks right. The problem is that at the moment you press the shutter you have no idea what the final frame will look like — so every decision you make while shooting, from framing to exposure to whether that light is worth waiting for, rests on a preview that isn't the picture.

AIO Camera moves the color to the framing stage. The contrast, cast and grain you see through the viewfinder are what lands in Photos. That changes how you shoot, not just how the photo looks afterwards.

What it does

Six original color profiles

Each with a distinct character. Set the current profile as the launch default so the app opens the way you want it.

Filters stack on top

Original, monochrome, instant, CCD, CCD Flash, CCD Soft, toy lens and Lo-Fi — plus color intensity and film grain, both resettable.

Night and long exposure

Automatic night capture prioritising quality and exposure, plus a tripod long-exposure mode where you set the time yourself.

Keep the RAW as well

JPEG, HEIC, or RAW + JPEG — the original DNG alongside the graded JPEG. Available formats depend on your iPhone model.

Real camera controls

Pinch zoom, tap to focus and expose, hold to lock AE/AF, level, grid, timer, aspect ratio, front and rear cameras, QR scanning.

Still adjustable afterwards

Compare original and graded side by side, change profile and filter, adjust color and grain, crop and share, or open in Photos.

Questions

How is this different from the built-in camera?

The built-in camera aims for accuracy; this one aims for a look, decided before the shutter. It also puts RAW + JPEG, tripod long exposure and color adjustment in one interface instead of across several apps.

Which films do the profiles emulate?

None. The six profiles are original work inspired by classic photographic aesthetics, not affiliated with or licensed by any camera or film brand — which is why they aren't named after one. Judge them by how they look, not by what they resemble.

Is there a subscription?

No. Seven days of unlimited, unrestricted use, then a one-time permanent unlock. No subscription and no consumable in-app purchases.

Can I make it my default camera?

iOS does not allow third-party apps to replace the system camera. You can add AIO Camera to Control Center, and on iPhones with Camera Control you can select it under Settings → Camera → Camera Control → Launch Camera.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Processing happens on your device. There are no accounts, no ad tracking and no third-party analytics. Location is off by default and, once enabled, is written only into new captures.

Do I pay again on a new phone?

No. The unlock is tied to your Apple Account — reinstall and choose Restore Purchase.
